The Miracle Of Noble: Home After Five Years Gone
Noble is a beautiful black cat with very long hair. He is a special breed called a Chantilly. Back in 2020, he got scared and ran into the woods. His owner, Ernestine, was totally heartbroken. She looked for him every time she visited North Carolina. She put up signs everywhere. She never truly gave up hope. But five years is a very long time for a cat to be on his own.
And then a miracle happened right before Christmas. A kind woman named Sally found him. People call her the "cat lady" because she cares for all the local strays. She saw Noble near her antique shop and started feeding him. She even posted a video of him online. Someone saw that video and remembered those old lost posters. So they called Ernestine right away.
The reunion was perfect. They met halfway to hand him over. As soon as Ernestine tapped on the car window, Noble knew her. He started purring the moment she held him. Now he is back home in Florida. He acts like he never even left! He knows the house and he knows the voices of his people. It just goes to show that a cat’s memory is as strong as their heart.
Why We Love This
As a dad to five cats, I cannot imagine five days without my crew, let alone five years. It makes my heart swell to think about Noble recognizing his mom after all that time. It proves that the bond we have with our felines is permanent. Cats are not just pets. They are family members who carry our scent and our love with them forever. Plus, shout out to Sally the "cat lady." We need more people like her who look out for the cats that have no one else.
