Oops! The Couch Just Got a Professional Cat Bath

Suki is a very sweet orange cat. She is blind. But she does not let that stop her. She is a great sister to her brother. His name is Murdock. He is blind too. They are a perfect pair. One day Suki decided it was time for Murdock to get a bath. She started licking with a lot of heart. But she made a big mistake. She was not licking her brother. She was licking the back of the couch!

Murdock was sitting right there. He could hear the sandpaper sound of her tongue. But he did not feel any water on his fur. He looked so shocked. He looked like he was thinking "Hey! Where is my bath?" It was a very funny moment. And Suki did not stop. She just kept going. She probably thought Murdock felt very stiff and fuzzy that day!

This is not the first time either. She has also groomed fuzzy blankets by mistake. She just wants to be helpful. Suki and Murdock show us that life is still fun even when you can't see. They play soccer and even "watch" TV. They are true heroes in my book.

Why We Love This

As a dad to five cats, I see this kind of "cat logic" every single day. My cats lick the weirdest things. One of them loves licking the wall. Another one licks my shoes. Suki’s mistake is just pure and sweet. She wants to show her brother some love. She just missed the target by a few inches! It reminds me that our cats are always doing their best. Even when they are a little bit confused, their hearts are in the right place. Plus, seeing two blind cats thrive and play together is just the best kind of news.
