Hi, I’m the human behind Daily Whiskers.

I started this site for one simple reason: The internet is loud, stressful, and exhausting. But you know who isn’t stressed? My cats.

I believe that if we spent a little more time looking at the world the way they do—finding the sunbeams, appreciating the snacks, and taking naps—we’d all be a lot happier. Daily Whiskers is your quiet corner of the internet dedicated to positive news, heartwarming rescues, and feline science.

But I don't run this place alone. Every story is vetted by my personal Editorial Board.

Meet The Team

Cash (The Editor Emeritus) At 12 years old, Cash is the boss. He has been running this house for over a decade. He doesn't say much, but when he meows, everyone listens. He specializes in quality control (napping on the keyboard).

Phoebe (The Fighter) Phoebe has the most grit of the group. I found her years ago while I was out on a run—she was a tiny kitten being attacked by a much larger cat in the middle of the road. I scooped her up, brought her home, and we bottle-fed her back to health. She proves that even the smallest among us can be the toughest.

Joey (Head of Human Resources) My wife and daughters brought Joey home from the shelter, and he is a giant marshmallow. A little on the larger side and incredibly soft, his main job is morale. If you’re having a bad day, Joey is the one who fixes it.

The Interns: Lily & Cheddar Cheezit We recently expanded the team with two new kittens.

• Lily: Keeping the Friends naming convention alive (along with Pheebe and Joey), she is the spunky new girl in the office.
• Cheddar Cheezit: He is an orange tabby with a kinked tail and zero brain cells. He is two weeks younger than Lily and brings the necessary "orange cat energy" to the newsroom.
